The Minnesota rate-increase tracker

When a Minnesota insurer wants to change homeowners or auto rates, it files the change with the state, and that filing is a public record. This page will track recent filings with the requested overall percentage change and effective dates, each linking the public source.

Read it honestly: a filing is a request, not a bill. The overall percentage is an average across the carrier's book; your own renewal can move more, less, or in the other direction, and some filings are withdrawn or changed before taking effect.

Requested percentages are being loaded from state filings

Minnesota publishes every filing at filingaccess.serff.com, but the public portal often omits the overall percentage figure. We have carrier filing records on file (25 recent); the percentage column arrives via a pending Commerce data request. Until those numbers land, this page does not show a hollow table of "not stated" rows.

Set a rate watch above and we will email you when new filings land for carriers you care about, including when percentage figures become available.

By carrier

Carrier pages list filing history we have on file. Requested percentages appear there only when the state filing includes them.

Filing summaries are collected from the public portal; if our copy and the portal ever disagree, the portal controls. This page reports what carriers filed; it does not predict your premium, compare coverage, or recommend a carrier.
